The Supplementary Schools Achievement Event on Saturday 1st July 2023 was a truly memorable experience. Our hearts were filled with pride as we accepted our quality accreditation award from none other than Lord Mayor of the City of Manchester, Yasmine Dar. But the accolades did not stop there.
Our teachers Ms Niki Agathangelidou and Miss Vasia Romaiou were commended for their creative teaching and dedication to incorporating youth voice and children’s rights into their practice. Our Headteacher, Ms Maria Pavlakou, was recognized for her outstanding work in community partnership, which has created opportunities for our school community, including an innovative curriculum for our pupils, teacher training and development.
Heartfelt thanks to the Safeguarding in Education team at Manchester City Council, the Manchester Supplementary Schools Partnership, and Young Manchester for their incredible support this school year and for organising such a fantastic event that left us feeling valued and truly recognized. We extend our gratitude to our pupils, teachers, and the entire community for their continuous support, which gives us a reason to do what we do.
