On Saturday 8th July, we hosted our first ever end-of-year celebration event. This special gathering provided a rare opportunity for our entire school community to come together and celebrate the achievements and successes of the year.
The air was filled with excitement and warmth as the children presented songs, traditional dances, and a short sketch. The performances were a testament to our pupils and teachers’ dedication, hard work and enthusiasm. Later during the event, our pupils received certificates of achievement for their efforts throughout the year. The celebration also included awards for perfect attendance to those who never missed a day of school.
A highlight of the event was the recognition offered to pupils who took part in the poetry competition. Our talented pupils received certificates signed by Professor Carol Ann Duffy, Creative Director of the Writing School at Manchester Metropolitan University.
Our celebration event served as a reminder of the power of nurturing talent, fostering a love for culture and learning, and promoting a strong sense of community. The joyous atmosphere, filled with applause and heartfelt appreciation, left everyone feeling proud and inspired. Here’s to even bigger and better things in 2023-24!
