The building echoed with laughter, the air was filled with festive melodies, and the spirit of togetherness brought warmth to all during our enchanting Christmas celebration last Saturday.
Our pupils took centre stage performing Christmas poems and songs in a room adorned with their own beautiful artwork. Later, the adult choir serenaded us with traditional carols from different corners of Greece, accompanied by the rhythmic sound of percussion.
No celebration is complete without a feast and the parents of the Greek School of Manchester know that very well! We had a delightful array of sweet and savoury treats, all homemade with love.
A definite highlight was the presence of Diavazo Greek Books, who graced us with their literary treasures once again. A sincere thank you extends to our generous sponsors, Bouzouki by Night and Love is in the Hair by Aggela, whose contributions to our raffle prizes made the event even more special.
As we reflect on this magical day, we are grateful to everyone who contributed to making this a memorable celebration. Here’s to a season of warmth, unity, and joy.
